QUALIFICATIONS FOR SESSIONS
CANSKATE
New skaters begin in Pre Canskate, which will be combined with Canskate on SESSION 2. All new skaters must register there.
Skaters should register for the session based on the last COMPLETE badge they have passed. If this is unknown, please contact skatingnotices@hotmail.com.
SESSION 1 - Skaters in Stages 3-6 (must be passed COMPLETE Stage 2)
SESSION 2 - Skaters in Pre Can-Stage 2
JUNIOR STAR
Skaters must be passed the entire Canskate program.
** Group coaching is provided but not included in cost. Coaching fees are invoiced bi-monthly and are due upon receipt.**
INTERMEDIATE STAR
Skaters must be passed their COMPLETE STAR 3 freeskate test (both elements and program) and have obtained 3 other COMPLETE STAR tests
can be a combination of skills and dance).
**Must secure a private coach.**
SENIOR STAR
Skaters must be passed their COMPLETE STAR 5 freeskate test (both elements and program) and 7 other COMPLETE STAR tests (can be a combination of skills and dance).
