PARTICIPANT RELEASE

The applicant agrees that the CBN Skating Club and/or its proprietors will not be held responsible for any accidents or loss however caused, and agrees to release the proprietors from all claims of
damages which may arise as a result of or by reason of such accidents or loss.

The applicant agrees that they have read and will abide by the club’s rules and procedures as indicated in this application form and on our website.

REGISTRATION AND FEES

Fees to be posted and emailed prior to registration. Registration is seasonal, from October 1-April 23, 2023.

REFUNDS

All refunds are subject to a minimum non-refundable administrative fee of $25 and Skate Canada Fee of $43.65. No refunds will be issued after the first day of each session.
If you wish to withdraw your child from skating for medical reasons a medical note will be required. A refund request form must be filled out before any refunds will be issued. Please email the club at
skatingnotices@hotmail.com to receive a refund request form.

CANCELLATIONS

The club reserves the right to cancel or change sessions based on registration or circumstances beyond our control, including weather. Cancellations may not be made up.

SESSION CAPS

Sessions are capped to ensure safety of skaters and quality instruction.

If you are waitlisted for a session, it is because the cap has been met for that session.
- CanSkate Cap 60 skaters per session
- Junior Cap 30 skaters
- Intermediate Cap 25 skaters
- Senior Cap 20 skaters

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

I hereby consent that the photographs and/or video taken of my son/daughter during participation with CBNSC may be used by CBNSC for promotion/advertising.  This may include use of photos/video taken during skating sessions to be used in newspapers, in promotional videos, etc.  Furthermore, I consent that CBNSC has the right to duplicate, reproduce and make use of photos/video taken during skating sessions without monetary compensation or claim on my part. CBN Skating Club and it's representatives may take pictures or video of our participants to use on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or in the newspaper to promote skating and our club. Any photos usage will be limited to these forms of media.
