 CanSkate is the flagship Learn to Skate program in Canada that teaches basic skating skills. Skaters move on to STARSkate, SynchroSkate or use this program to further their skating skills for hockey or ringette. It is not just for figure skating! Once finished CanSkate, our skaters enter the STARSkate stream to learn to train, and learn to compete. There are several competitions and opportunities to take tests, which further their skating development. Some skaters enter our Competitive Stream for opportunities to compete Nationally.
